The mindfulness symbol, embodying present-moment awareness, traces its roots to ancient philosophies emphasizing the importance of living in the now. The symbol of mindfulness depicts three stages of water drop; one is falling to touch the ocean (the future); another merged into ocean and became ocean (the past). In the middle, there is a moment when it touches the ocean (the present moment). The waves arise at this point of time. The real event happens at this point of time. This is the present moment. Witness it! Live this! It highlights the significance of being fully present in the moment, akin to the droplet's fleeting touch with the ocean. Mindfulness practices have been integral to various spiritual traditions worldwide, offering guidance on living mindfully and embracing the richness of each moment. Be it yoga or meditation or tai chi or qi gong all these are techniques to practice mindfulness.
