The lotus is an aquatic plant that roots itself in mud but grows above water, blossoming into a stunning flower. This unique feature—rising pure and unsullied from murky waters—has made it a potent symbol across cultures. The flower’s daily cycle of blooming and closing also hints at renewal and rebirth.
