It is true that we all are social animals and cannot exist in isolation. But trying to do everything at same time not only wastes our time, but also will make all the things we pursue less effective. We have to dream holistic and define ONE GOAL each for different zones of our life.
We call it MBRF i.e. defining one goal each towards Mind, Body, Relationship and Finance.
If you don't have a vision for your own life, you'll become part of someone else's vision for their life. So it is very important to set your clear priority in life.
Clear priorities in each segment of your life i.e your mental health, your physical body, people around you and your work life.
By aligning your priorities, you will find more sense of purpose, be able to manage your time, and stay motivated by simply focusing on ONE GOAL at a time in each sphere!
This doesn’t imply that every day is perfect day wherein you get to spend the exact right amount of time with oneself, family, business or society. You need to create balance or harmony over a course of week, month, or quarter. That’s how you can create best WORK-LIFE BALANCE.
Sub-divide goals into plans and actions i.e long, medium and short term to make it measureable and realistic. Note your PLAN and review its progress periodically (Monthly/weekly). You know your task yourself better than anyone else. So you choose review frequency which is best for you. Review is important!
Being successful in life does not mean to be successful at work only, but also in the other four zones of life as well. Never get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life!
